New in the Neighborhood: Nana’s Bringing Homestyle Mexican Food to Queen Anne

Hola Queen Anne! We are so excited to be new to the neighborhood and meet all of you. Nana’s Family Mexican Kitchen & Cantina is the newest addition to Queen Anne’s main street on 1825 Queen Anne Avenue North. You can’t miss us—our patio is quite colorful. Follow the flags and come on in!

Nana’s menu features traditional meals from Mexico with family recipes that have hailed all the way from Guadalajara. They’re mom’s recipes that she used to cook for our family! All our food is made fresh from scratch daily. These recipes are rooted in traditional Mexican cuisine, but influenced by our Pacific Northwest region. We always opt for the freshest ingredients, many of which from the original recipes cannot be found here, so our food can be considered authentic Mexican with a Seattle twist. Always fresh, seasonal, and home made.

We offer breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Our menu includes everything from nachos to quesadillas to carne asada. The street tacos have become a guest favorite—soft corn tortillas filled with your choice of meat el pastor or carne asada topped with queso fresco and lime. Another popular item is our enchiladas verdes, corn tortillas filled with slow roasted shredded chicken covered in our verde sauce. To start, try our guacamole lado de la mesa, which is made fresh at your table and customized by you!

Our cozy restaurant has a full bar with lots of fun cocktails and beverages. There is more dining area upstairs, where you can enjoy your meal by a warm fireplace. We can accommodate large groups for any occasion—private parties, special events, celebrations, etc. Bring the entire family and kids for a casual dining experience right in your own neighborhood! We look forward to sharing our favorite family recipes with you.
